/ 12:50 PM As i hv nothing to do on this rainy tuesday afternoon, i shall blog. haha. lets see.... i shall blog abt what happened during my ncc specialists retreat which was like last week. we meet in school at 8 in the morning outside the school HQ. it was kinda disappointing as only 17 out of the 28 turned up. abt 7 of them had good reasons but some, like ahemrothahem, din't. first we had talk cock sessions and julian, cheng weng and mattew shared their ophir experiences. it was darn funny. we were all laughing like nuts. after tt we had ice breaker. played dog and bone. was fun. then after lunch we got abit more serious and did some planning and stuff. then there was part takeover for mattew and gang. tt was hilarious. we were all pretending to be sec 1s and see how mattew controls us. knowing him, it was rather well, unmanly x) haha, after tt was soccer at the hocky pitch. damn fun, as usual. then we had some slack time and after tt was showers and dinner. after dinner we once again sat down for planning, this time for next yr's company camp. julian was voted as the camp's OIC, which means overall in-charge, with zi hao as the AOIC. we were split into two commities, the programmes and the admin. jin kai was the OIC for admin and i was the OIC for programmes. so after planning, we had some leadership talk by g chan. was kinda boring. after tt was reflections. the reflection session was very good. led by julian. we each had an envelope with our name written on it pasted on the board and we had to write comments abt each other and out it in the envelopes. we were given a day to do tt. after tt was lights out. the night was freaking cold i tell u. it was the coldest iv had in sji. second day. started of with pt. being the cheif pti, i had to conduct it. made it super slack. just abit of warmups, some warmup game i learned at obs, and 2 rounds around track. after tt was breakfast. 5 of us had to leave for shooting competition. the rest had part take over. cheng weng did simple drills and ivan and hiren had c & c. and ok, i agree, i suck at c&c. haha. after tt was more slack time and then lunch. after tt we did year plans for next year but realised tt we could not continue without the shooters, who were not back yet. so... more free time. hehe. so we decided to spend the free time playing soccer, well most of us anyway. we played till abt 4. after tt some of us sneaked out of sch to go to esso. bought some drinks and chips. once we had returned to sch. we had to meet ms wee to dicuss our year plans with her. after tt was dinner. after dinner we went for our nightwalk, which was at some ulu place in pasir ris, i think. after the walk we all went to macs for a bite before heading back to school. in school, we had our showers then our reflections before knocking out. third day was pretty short. just some last min talks, breakfast, and then end of camp. some of us had kayaking course after tt, but i wasn't involved. yupp, tt was my retreat.
