/ 1:20 PM HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!! so this is it. offcially the end of 2007. and looking back at 2007, it had actually been alot better then i expected it to be. coming into 2007, i thought this is gonna be really a stressful year, with the whole big Os and all. but reflecting now, 2007 had been about more then just the O levels and it has been undoubtly one of the best years i have had in sji. 2007 has had its up and down, but on the overall, it has been quite fantastic a year. there has been many ups and downs the past year, fitting into 421, the class of many groups, the unofficial coming together of kumz club, scoring twice in kumz club's debut, screwing up exams, and of course one of my lowest points of the year, getting sent off in the rematch against slayers 15mins into the game. and definately one of the highest points of the year was the coming together of kumz club. and what was the most heartwarming fact was that despite the fact that this was our most hectic year and all of us were from different classes and had different timetables and schedules, like huz, who was our only triple sci, double humans dude, we all managed set aside time for kumz club almost everyday. we made tanglin cc's cafe our unofficial club house, tanglin cc's basketball court our football holy grail, the 421 canteen table kumz club's meeting table, and we were unofficial patronisers of far east's makan place. it has been basically wonderful. and even during the most stressful of times, the post-prelims and pre-O level period, we hung out together, encouraged each other on and studied together. all this moments made 2007 a year not to forget. and personally, i owe alot of people my thanks and gratitude for that. my family, my friends. each and everyone had played a role in my life, teaching me something along this journey, making me stronger in ever aspect of life. some might have played a bigger role then others, but everyone made their impact on me, changing me for the better. my supportive family, loveable kumz clubbers, and the dude who always stayed by my side, my bestie. to all of you all, i owe my deepest thanks and gratitude. you all have made me who i am. and now, 2008 awaits. i know there would be many challenges ahead. but well, what's life without its twists and turns right? so, bring what lies ahead. happy new year all (: |
